Lost Wax Casting

Our company is operating as the exclusive agent in the Greek market of the market leader NICEM Spa, which among others, produces silicone rubbers for lost wax micro casting.

Nicem silicone is suitable for injection of flat pieces, with medium and extreme undercut, filigree and pavè. Nicem range includes also silicones to be used as fixed or movable insert in harder silicone moulds.
Nicem silicone rubbers boast excellent characteristics:
• Ideal to be used for high precision and consistent weight pieces
• Sustain high wax injection pressure without increasing in thickness and weight
• Suffer only a very low shrinkage rate (from 0,3% to 0,8%)
• Don’t produce fin formation with increased wax injection pressure
• Prove to have very high tear resistance and shape stability (the wax patterns are easy to remove without deformation)
• Require minimum air vents thanks to its higher permeability
