Phosphating – Conversion Coatings for Aluminum

Phosphating

  • STEEL: products for degreasing-iron phosphating, based on phosphoric ions and tension-actives are available.
    Iron phosphate coating is formed, which gives corrosion protections and  excellent paint adhesion.
  • ZINC: zinc phosphating products form crystalline zinc phosphate coatings of low or high thickness (g/m2).
  • MANGANESE: the relative products form crystalline coatings of Manganese  Phosphate, of high wear resistance and good adhesion before powder coating.

Conversion Coatings for Aluminum

Applied before powder coating and guarantee perfect adhesion.

  • Trivalent Chromium (approved by   GSB and  QUALICOAT). Appropriate for Aluminum.
  • Passivation based on Zirconium and Polymers (approved by   QUALICOAT). Appropriate for Aluminum and Zinc.
  • Yellow and Green Chromatings with Hexavalent Chromium, for Aluminum.
